Scope

Mecomed Certification is currently limited to Healthcare Organizations (HCOs), including Medical Associations (MA), and Professional Congress Organizers (PCOs) as defined by the Mecomed Code of Ethical Business Practice.

Certification Steps

Apply using the online expression of interest form. To check the required information for submission please visit ‘apply’. Within one month you will receive feedback on your application’s status. If approved, you will receive an activation email via your organization’s registered email address.

Once you log in, you will be able to access the educational materials of the Mecomed Code and the Conference Vetting System (CVS). Educational material can also be downloaded in a PDF format.

After reviewing the educational materials, you will be prompted to complete an online assessment test for the purposes of evaluating your understanding of the Mecomed Code of Ethical Business Practice and the Conference Vetting System (CVS) process.

All 10 questions need to be answered before your assessment can be submitted. A minimum score of 80% is required towards successful completion of the assessment.

If you fail to pass the assessment, you will be invited to retake it – a link to a new assessment will be sent to the registered email address. You can retake the assessment a maximum of 3 times.

Following successful completion of the assessment, you will receive the certification contract (valid for 2 years). This is to be stamped and signed off by your organization’s authorized representative – the email will contain a link to a page where you are required to upload your signed and stamped contract along with your organization’s logo.

Your organization’s logo and/or official website link will be requested so it can be added to the Mecomed Certified Partners page.

Your organization will also receive the Mecomed Certified Partner stamp, which can be used exclusively by Mecomed Certified Organizations.

You will be required to take assessment after 2-years.
